How to Load a Dumpster Efficiently
So you’ve rented a dumpster and it’s time to load that dumpster. You might assume loading a dumpster is straightforward, but that’s not always the case.
- Location: Work with the driver to find the best location for the dumpster related to your project. We will take all efforts to put the dumpster in the right location.
Load: Upon delivery, the driver will open both doors. It’s ideal to load from front to back, with the doors being the back.
- Breakdown: To maximize your space, breakdown all large items, including furniture when possible.
- A few don’ts: To avoid extra fee’s, don’t overload the dumpster (height and weight) and don’t throw in forbidden items as listed in the rental agreement.
- Utilize all the space by breaking down large items and compacting as you go
- Load the weight as evenly as possible, starting at the front away from the doors
- Avoid "not allowed" items and don't overload by height or weight
